The HAV is bound by the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988, which seeks to regulate the collection, amendment and dissemination of personal information between individuals and organisations in Australia.
If you are a member of the HAV you would have signed the HAV Privacy Statement, which explains our reasons for collecting the personal information you disclosed to us upon membership. It also states the third parties we disclose this information to, and for what purposes.
